1. Leah - Anakin & Padme: Pushing Me Away

I really like how this video shows both Anakin's and Padme's POV. We can clearly see how much they loved each other at first portrayed in your video at the begining. One just has to ask "What went wrong with their relationship"? Well, I like how we can find the answer by watching your video. The video just flows right through showing what they both have done. Usually videos point the finger at Anakin only, this one however shows how much it depends on the two to make things right. Another thing I like is how we can see that it could have been so much easier if one of them ended it sooner. Even the little time they spent together pushed them away more. Once again we see the sad fate of Padme at the end. But you combined it with Darth Vader which is nice because we see how he didn't mean for things to end up this way. We really like the colors used as well as the great use of the song.

 

2. Leah - Anakin & Padme: Falling On

We like all the new things you tried in this video. At times it looks like Anakin is just so lost when he is dark that he has all these colors that are kind of creepy although its almost like he wears a mask and you know that is not the real person underneath. We like how you put in the pretty color for Padme. Padme was always there for Anakin to fall on but he chose the dark side.

2:04-2:07 is really cool. I always like a swell with the music. You had some nice timing with the mirror effect that I saw.

Again great song choice!

 

 

3 Val - Pride & Prejudice 'Elizabeth's Dream'

I love the Legends of The Fall music Val! You always have good choices for songs or music. We both thought this was so beautiful. Especially when the music starts to get higher and you have the scene go to color. We can see how Elizabeth looks back at everything and wants Mr Darcy to love her. We really like how about 2:35 goes back to sepia and she wakes realizing it was a dream. We all have had those almost "REAL LIFE LIKE" dreams I think. I think it was beautifully made and the only thing wrong with it is it DESERVED MORE AWARDS! We really would have liked to give more awards for this one. We hope you enter it again in the future!

 

4. Val - Titanic 'For You I Will' (Confidence)

Another beautiful video put together so well. This song seems to have been made for Jack and Rose. We love 1:20 - 1:23 where it says "If I could fall asleep in those eyes" and it just matches the scene so well, I feel almost like I can feel the same thing they are in the movie. We always love how you capture the emotion and love displayed between the characters of any video you make. 2:27 - 2:34 has excellent timing. 2:43 "shout out your name" is perfect along with Jack screaming "ROSE, ROSE." Right on the beat even though it is a slower song. You still manage to slow it to the right speed. I think it is beautiful at the end as well, I love how it ends as if Jack lives on and he "Mustered up the confidence" to meet Rose at the stairs. Wonderfully made!

 

5. Ladykate - Listen To Your Heart

This is an awesome crossover. I love how this went together so well. This is the first one Frogprincezz and I watched, and I got to say that Mel (Frogprincezz) said "OMG I love this!" P&P is her fav as everyone most likely knows, and she really loved how the song went with both movies. We haven't seen Becoming Jane but it still gave us chills as we watched. It really goes with the feeling how Jane had to listen to her heart as well as her character Elizabeth had to listen to what her heart really said. Great video and very well put together.

 

6. Ladykate - Left In Silence

Wow again! We love this video, we never heard this song before but fell in love with it and the video. We cried when we watched it and every time we see it we get goosebumps. Love the glow used in this video. Nice editing and we notice that you did so well not showing Kong in the video. It was very believable especially on the part 2:01 - 2:12 really looks like she is mourning without Jack. The flashbacks are awesome at fit the feelings of sadness that Ann has. Mel loved this video and had a hard time choosing just one so she chose both. We also liked from 2:52 all the way to the end. You edited it so well to look like Ann was up there to jump off because of Jack. Very beautifully put together and made us cry at the end as well.

 

 

7. Kerry - North and South

Lovely music Kerry! It fits the characters so well and we like the colors and effects put in to the video. It was a nice summary of the movie. 2:03 - 2:32 is amazing! The blueish color to real color is incredible. That is why FrogPrincezz wanted Best Colors for this video. The timing as well is excellent as you always do so well in that category. 1:04 - 1:08 was equally wonderful in the timing department.

 

8. Kerry - Mr Darcy - Breathing

This is such a cool idea Kerry! 1:36 - 1:43 is so cool. We only saw the 2005 P&P and have never seen the other, but it is so awesome how they are so alike. As I said before the timing is excellent. The song goes great with the story. I also like the dancing scene side by side. 3:36 - 3:41 is amazing. We can tell you worked really hard on this and it must have been extremely challenging. Keep up the great work!

 

9. Shannypantsmoviez - Star Wars - Stand

Its to bad that Anakin had the chance to stand up for himself in a good way maybe to palpatine but he ended up standing for the dark side. He became Darth Vader and did so many things wrong but in the end he did turn back to light. I believe that is what you were saying for this video. I know sony vegas is a hard program so I clap my hands for anyone attempting to use it. There were some parts I saw a white flash for a beat and fast cuts for timing. Keep practicing on Sony and it will all pay off.

 

10. Shannypantsmoviez - Titanic - Far Away

This is a great song for Jack and Rose. The begining was cute with the color change. Jack loved Rose from the time he met her all the way to the end. I like how you showed that in the video.

 

11. Jedicaro - Anakin/Vader "Planet Hell"

This is my favorite action video. I really like the fast cuts of the clips. We can see Anakin's world falling apart as he turns. I didn't really like the song once it got into the singing part, but that is just my opinion. I thought it was a great POV and can't wait to see what else you will submit for round 4.

 

12. Jedicaro - Leia and Han "Opheliac"

Sorry to say again we really didn't like the song choice, but the idea of the video was good. We like Han & Leia vids. The one thing is we couldn't see some of the clips because of the blur or glow on them. But it wasn't a bad thing. Infact it was nicely fast paced and the timing was pretty good. Again we look forward to the next video we see.

 

 

13. Bluesalad - I'm Still Here

We like how unique this video is. Its really cute actually. We don't always see Collins in a video, so it was nice to see all 4 guys in one video and the song fit all of them. We like you ideas and they are so cool! Keep up the vid making.

 

14. Bluesalad - If You Believe - Jane Bennet

Another sweet video but this one about Jane. I like this video because again it is different then others. I know how hard it must be to make one like this because of the choices of scenes. Nice job though. Cool song that I think fits her. I remember you entered this video before and I liked it then, and I like it even more now.

 

15. Monica_O - How Can I Remember - Jason/Nicky

This is a cool video. I was kind of worried at first when I heard the song. As the video progressed however I found that it was nicely done and it actually in a different way fit the movie the way you portrayed it. Another thing is I haven't seen the last bourne movie yet but still this was so cool. I wasn't sure if they had ended up together because i haven't seen it but even if they don't, I love the idea of it.

 

16. Smokeyfizz - Anakin's Obsession

Oh my gosh! This is amazing! Right away it starts and grabs you in with the intense fast scenes and great timing!

I like the part :18 - :21 with that creepy look anakin give Padme behind her back like he is really stalking her. :39 - :42 as well as 1:48 - 1:58 is so cool with the song. Mel likes those parts the way he sings. :54 - :56 is so cool with those pictures of her. 2:48 - 2:55 is so cool with the music. We go crazy for the ending! It builds up with excitement and then gives goosebumps everytime! You guys are just so good at editing and always have good ideas for new videos. Hope you enter our Challenge round that will open soon.

 

 

17. The Duchez - Anakin's "Someone To Love"

This video is so sweet. Especially because it is dedicated to me! LOL No no, I like it anyway. Really love the unique song choice for the movie. Never would have thought of it myself and that is why I love it. You can see the love in the video of Anakin & Padme without the fighting or sad scenes you see the majority of times. Really beautifully made.

 

 

 

18. Cody137 - Anakin & Padme - My Immortal

This is a really sad song and it always fits so well with Anakin and Padme. You did a nice job with it. It made us cry and that is a good thing when it touches us in that way. It is very sad when Anakin and Padme look back on things because we know how much they loved each other. Even more so when he is Darth Vader and thinks about the past. Good job working with Sony Vegas.

 

19. Cody137 - Anakin - Run Away

This video is really cool for Anakin. We can totally relate to his feelings by watching this video. Nice switching of clips and scene choices for the song. Poor Anakin opened up his mind and knew the truth to the wrong side, and that is brought out from the video. Good Job Again!

 

 

20. Starwarschick16 - Anakin's "How You Remind Me"

This song is great for Anakin. Everything he lost is reminded to him constantly. As he turns to the dark Padme is always there trying to help him be the man he was but he still turns. Nice video to show this Lauren! I wish we could have given more awards to you. Keep up the good work and we can't wait to see more videos from you.

 

 

 

First off Frogprincezz and I want to express how much we enjoyed judging this round. With 20 entries it was a little hard because we love everyone's videos, but can't give everyone awards. I will be reviewing every video.

We loved all the videos, but we feel bad that not everyone can get 1st place awards.

Don't feel bad if you didn't win an award.

"In Your Heart"

Truthfully, I get goosebumps every single time!

is an incredible video. I am not joking when I say that I can't stop watching it. What I find so amazing is how quick it touched me. We both think that its one of the best thought out videos we have seen. We like the part on 2:44 - 3:09 when Thorton is walking and you added his voice in the backround. What I especially LOVE is the ending. It just pokes at my heart seeing him with the lyric "I don't want to be alone" repeated as somehow I feel what Thortan is feeling.

 "How to Save a Life"

is just mindblowing at timing with hard cuts and fades. I appreciate how even though it switches scenes fast and is a crossover, the video still flows perfectly and tells a story. Sadly we haven't seen Sense & Sensibility yet but it really made me want to see it after this video. Great way it was put together. Keep it up Kerry! :)

is such a sweet video. As soon as Mel and I saw it we were speechless and in tears. It was so close to getting alot more awards but like we said before it was really hard. It just shows people that despite being an animation a video of this nature can really hold so much emotion and greatness. Again my heart had a tug on it with this video and we both love it!

 **Luke Skywalkers "Part of Me"**

is a very different Luke video. Its got great music and effects that set it apart from alot of other videos. This also just like your other video almost won alot more awards. Its got great timing to the beat of this kind of music. I LOVE LINKIN PARK and STAR WARS put together. Such a great combo. I like towards the begining at 00:27 with that creepy anakin look by Luke.

On My Own

 

just shows how good you are at your video editing skills. You do stuff that others don't attempt to do. I can't picture passing you up and not giving an award for this video. Narrowing it down to the stuff we liked most is hard because EVERYTHING is superb! To name a few things 00:31 - 00:33 is so cool! Somewhat of a morph that is seen throughout the video. We like how Mary-jane and Padme are shown hurting inside from the way they are treated. On one part they are morphed as well. Frogprincezz really liked this video! We had a hard time because just as I said to Leah about her vids, this video deserves so many more awards but we want you to know that we love it. Another thing I must say about it is the part 1:24 - 1:36 is so amazingly great! We are so inspired when we see that. I replay that part over again to just see how Peter and Anakin are so much alike.

Paper Flowers

displays a different feel for Peter Pan. Its like a darker version combined with Evanescence. Love how the lyrics were matched so beautifully to the movie. We like the blue eye effect. All in all this is greatly put together as are all your vids.

is such a romantic video. We love how unique it is. You chose the perfect scenes to show the love. It had good music to touch the heart. The flow and timing was gorgeous (so is Richard LOL) :) We saw alot great editing that was kept simple which I like alot. This is another one Frogprincezz fell in love with so much!

Extreme Ways

has great action! I love the bourne series, this trailer was so cool and didn't disappoint! Great timing with a good song choice once again. Nice hard cuts and still managing even with a trailer chopped to match the song! I want more BOURNE (HINT HINT) LOL

really surprised us in a good way! We were happy to see a different song used then most P&P videos. Great use of song you did. This was a really sweet video and it fits Mr Darcy and Elizabeth so well.

If you believe - Jane Bennett

makes me smile! I really appreciate that you made a video based on her character. Most videos always focus on Darcy and Elizabeth, but it was nice to see this one. Nice innocent song choice too for her. Good scenes chosen, I know how hard it can be because there aren't to many with her in them.

has a great beat and feel to it! Love the use of song along with Rens character. It fits him so well along with the whole movie. We saw like the entire movie summed up in one vid but with still a great story attached!!

is such a cute side of spiderman! I like the different song choice chosen for this movie and you made it fit so well. Very entertaining and really sweet for Peter and Mary Jane.

was different in a nice way. I like the colors and grey scenes. Nicely shown Anakin (Darth) reflecting and remembering all the good times. We know that Anakin regrets so many things and wants things back to normal usually on vids, but it was nice to see it with a different story making this a cool AU.

Best Editing

 

Smokeyfizz - So Cold

First I have to say that the editing in this video is flawless. Frogprincezz and I really love how you girls edit the scenes so well.

We get really frustrated when we see clips that aren't cut right by some people.

We obviously can't complain about that with your video!

In particular we really like 1:45 - 1:59. I myself watched that part a couple times to figure out what scene that was. You did an awesome job turning the scene of Anakin walking with Mace, into what looks like Anakin reflecting on old times with Padme.

We especially enjoyed the quick cuts following fast music, then slowed scenes along with fade to black shown by

slower parts of the song. It flowed greatly through the entire video.

Leah - Padme's Stranger

This video is AMAZING! It caught our eye so quick and made us want to keep watching.

As I said before, Here is a great example of very good editing found in this video.

Clips are all cut right, clips are muted, I can hear the clips that have sound with the right volume on music as well as voice.

Loved the fast pace bumps from scene to scene, They were right on beat!

I could watch this over and over and find new things I love!

 

 

Best Effects

Leah - Padme's Stranger

The effects in this video are off the hook!

I love how different "Padme's Stranger" is then most Padme videos.

I like how the yellowish shadow effect looks at the begining, like maybe thats how Padme sees Anakin Or maybe that is how Anakin made her feel until he became a stranger. Anakin is very much like how this effect looks in some way.

Another thing I like is the pixel affect with the music on parts. Colors are good as well of course!

My favorite part of this video is 1:02 when Padme's face is staring at Anakin. It was kind of hard to give you runner up for effects, because you always do such amazing things

Frogprincezz expressed how she likes the colors, kind of a green with purple and natural color at times.

We love how you blend 2 scenes together so well with the scenes matching.

 

 

Best Timing

Val - Pride & Prejudice, North & South "Worlds Apart"

We love when music matches movement, thats exactly what you did with this video!

We like on parts you have hard cuts and others fade into another scene with a simple CROSSFADE.

There is this part at about 0:23 - 0:25 and again at 0:28 - 0:30 when Elizabeth & Mr Darcy are dancing

and just that simple movement with the music in the backround gives me goosebumps everytime I see it.

Your video proves that even with simple editing and scene choices you can touch people by timing music with movement.

Jedicaro - Luke & Leia "Like You"

I like how first the video starts off with the begining of this song, then the first scene pops on with the beat.

What I like about your video and Val's, is that its very mild. Showing what you can do even without all the flashy effects.

The flow of the music was good and fit well with Amy Lees (Evanescence) voice and style.

 

Best Crossover

Val - Pride & Prejudice, North & South "Worlds Apart"

Val, I love this crossover!

Its perfect for "Worlds Apart" because it fits these characters so well.

Frogprincezz and I agreed that even though this was the only "Crossover" we got, it deserved this award because of the portrayal of everyone. Believe me, if it wasn't a good one, we would have done away with a crossover award this time.

Again, great editing and timing

along with wonderful romance portrayed in this video just makes me want to watch it over again and again.

 

Best Tearjerker

Kerry - A Walk to Remember "Far Away"

Kerry this video is beautiful but makes me cry.

I know this video means so much to you and we want you to know that it shows through the video.

This song is perfect for Landon and Jamie.

I like towards the end how Landon is walking and it looks as if he is remembering everything that happened.

Beautiful job Kerry!

 

Best Tearjerker RU

EpisodeSkywalker - Into the Fire

Frogprincezz and I love this video so much.

I have never heard this song before and I think it fits well with what happened to Anakin. Its very sad at the end that Anakin had to "put his hands into the fire." There are no words for how it would feel to go through something like that.

I like how you put sound into it as well, the dream of Padme at the begining fit great with the music!

 

 

Best POV

We really like this point of view from Anakin that was portrayed.

Its so sad but at the same time you wonder why he went along to the dark side.

Another thing we enjoy is how even though it is Anakin's POV, we still see how it effects Padme, how palpatine mislead him, and so on.

Its just really a simple great video we loved! Best of all as I said already, its a song I never heard before but I like alot.

This POV of Anakin just catches the eye as well.

Even though we already chose Anakin for 1st place POV, we felt that this POV of his is different but still great.

We like how even though he did so much to his relationship with Padme that he regrets it and realized all the bad he did. We like how well this fits his attitude portrayed in your video. I think the lyrics "I never really wanted you to see The screwed up side of me that I keep Locked inside of me so deep" is so good for Anakin's facial expressions you showed us.

 

 

Best Character

The Duchez - She's a Bad Mama Jama

We love how even though Big Mama is played by 2 people that she is the best character by far!

Another thing we liked is how you showed the perfect scenes demonstrating how everybody loves Mama!

Even though this is a comedy it has great character portrayal.

How could we not love Peter's character?

You showed the best scenes to display the great emotion through his acting in this video.

I wish we could have given you more for this video, but guess what...Its great song use, and very sad but touching.

I like the scenes that overlap like Peter is reflecting on things. Good job, keep up the good work!

Like I said about Vals video being the only video entered into "best crossover" yet deserving the award anyway, We had to give you best comedy because it was just the funniest thing ever! Great song that most likely nobody else would ever have thought of making a video to.

The lyrics go so well with the video that it is amazing!

 

 

Best Romance

Ladykate - Trying

It was really hard to judge this category because all of the choices were great. We decided on your video

because even though the song is "What Hurt's The Most" we liked how you entitled it "Trying." That is exactly what Mr Darcy and Elizabeth are doing.

They are trying to be the couple they want to be! This shows that romance is more then lovey dovey, romance goes through challenges as well.

Kerry - A Walk to Remember "Far Away"

Frogprincezz and I always enjoy a Landon and Jamie video. Their romance is so pure and innocent and that is what makes it so beautiful.

Great song that you chose to bring out the love and romance they have in this film.

The shots you chose with Landon looking at Jamie are perfect because you see that deep love he has for her with so much emotion in his eyes.

Great choice Kerry! Love it!

Just like I mentioned before this song is really good for Pride & Prejudice.

So many times Darcy would walk away and make Elizabeth feel insecure and hurt.

We saw alot of famous scenes from the movie and we liked that.

I personally LOVE this video because its so cool.

I would never have thought this song would go with a Luke & Leia video but you made it work.

Its unique also in that it doesn't need effects to be a great video. I also wanted to say how usually I do not like videos that just have random clips, but this one is so great its impossible for someone not to like it.

I don't know how anyone could be bored with this!?

Its so entertaining that you could watch it over again 10 times in a row and more.

Great scene choices along with this song really do it for me. Watching this just makes you want to watch the movie.

This is pure entertainment and comedy at its best.

As I told you already I love the effect you do in the begining, but I also really like the yellow colors.

Good job showing when things were in the past with another color.

Also around 2:37 I think it is, in the Padme crying scene it slowely changes color right to the beat of music and voice of Hilary!

All I can say is this is put together so well. The lyrics fit your video so well.

Frogprincezz and I were impressed on how much this song firs Anakin and Padme.

Especially when she says in the song "The way you look at me its just not right" it fits that sneaky look Anakin gives Padme.

How much more could this be perfectly put together??

Its so awesome in effects and editing but just as much in use of song!

Its great how you can actually see Anakin feeling this way and saying these things because it fits him so much.

The scenes went along well with not only the music and anger felt, but the lyrics flowed through like this song is meant for him.
